The two engines aren't a quiz with one right answer. They're an experiment you run on your own body β and the result is allowed to surprise you.
Why you can't just decide in advance
Here's why it has to be an experiment, and can't be a decision you make in your head beforehand: you can't know a preference you've never felt.
There's a tidy bit of science under this. What turns a given body on isn't one universal dial; researchers map it as a balance between what raises arousal and what brakes it, and the mix is set differently in every person β and shifts with mood, trust, and the night. Which means your own accelerator is partly unmapped territory to you until something drives over it. Ask a woman who's only ever bounced whether she's "a grinder," and she'll give you an honest answer β about a body she's never actually run this way. The information simply isn't in her head to report. It's in the doing. A woman dead sure she's not a cowgirl type tries the slow grind once and feels something her body never reported when she asked it politely from the outside.
So run both engines with no verdict pre-loaded. Some bodies light up under the fullness grind and feel almost nothing in the pendulum's swing. Some are the reverse. Many can learn both and choose by the night.
Preference is the multiplier
There's a reason this matters so much. Your preference β which engine, which kind of touch β isn't a small detail. It's the multiplier. It sets your ceiling. It's the difference between a sensation that's merely fine and one that takes the roof off. Two women, same motion, and one barely registers it while the other comes undone β because the motion matched one body's wiring and not the other's. And you only find which multiplier is yours by trying, not by typing yourself in advance.
The size worry, settled
This is also the place to put down a worry a lot of couples carry quietly, so let's just say it and be done. Size matters less here than almost anywhere else.
The entire live zone of this position is the first third β the entrance, the front, the home turf a smaller man reaches just as completely as a larger one. The fullness grind runs on the base and the outer lips. The pendulum runs on that mid-shaft ring right at the opening. Neither engine is asking for length it can't get. The refrain in these threads is constant: on top, it's the sensations that decide it, far more than the size β and on top, more than in any other position, they're simply right. If anything, the upright ride is the great equalizer: the one place the question mostly stops mattering at all.
The whole point
So: no types, no verdicts, no deciding who you are before your body has spoken. Two engines, your own body, a few honest nights. Run the experiment. Both are worth trying β neither is promised, both are recommended β and the answer is yours, findable only one way.
